Barreling Down the Barbera “Lirano Soprano” 2010

IMG00274-20101104-1534-300x225The Barbera d’Alba “Lirano Soprano” finished fermenting and we immediately transferred it into new casks of French oak of medium toast, in which we will induce malolactic fermentation. In the photo you can see my brother, Alessandro, tasting this Barbera for the first time. One can note the very intense red-purple colour of the wine. In this phase the wood will contribute to its stabilization.
