Here is a video for you, showing clips from the vertical Barolo tasting held last week in the historical city of Riga, Latvia, at the new shop “Vina Studija”, in the Galeria Center shopping arcade. This simple, but genial, concept of shop, wine bar and wine school, which is run by my friend Valts Grinbergs, is unique of its kind, not only in Latvia, but in the entire Baltic area. The architect and owner Martins Pilens designed the interior using a very smart system for lifting the glass windows so that the locale can be enjoyed in both the summer and the winter.
