La Stampa 1939

It is not news hot off the press that the 1934 Rivetto Barolo was celebrated at the “Siena Wine Exposition” of 1939, but no one would have remembered it if we hadn’t happened upon the 21 August issue of La Stampa of that same year: an archaeological discovery and testimony in one fell swoop! It is a surprising discovery in part because it was unexpected and testifies to our family’s tradition, recognition that as a “young business” it was already meeting with success and actively participating in events in the world of wine, as has continued up to this day!
