The April issue of Wine Spectator , dedicated to Piedmont, has arrived, and in addition to the already noted rating of 95 for the Barolo Serralunga 2006 in the TOP WINES section, we find the Nebbiolo Langhe Lirano 2008 with 89 points. Bruce Sanderson tasted more than 475 wines and among these the quality/price ratio of our Nebbiolo was a winning combination and included in the TOP VALUES section. This wine is striking for its extraordinary refinement, exceptional capacity for aging and good tannicity. Pleasing and drinkable, fruity and balanced with good body, it fully represents the characteristics of a grape variety from which noble and prestigious wines are derived. And if then it is pleasing, not just for the palette but also for the wallet ….
