Encounters: Rivetto at Eataly

Zio Nando and Langhe Nascetta were protagonists last weekend at Eataly, where they captivated more or less expert drinkers with the quality and history that have always distinguished Rivetto wines.http://blog.rivetto.it/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/DSC085701-300x225.jpg

We offered every visitor a taste of our wines and a short “seminar” to give an idea of what each glass represents: the history of our family and the day-to-day work that takes place on our hills.

The Barbera d’Alba Zio Nando represents tradition, as it is one of the businesses’ historic wines. The original planting dates to 1944 but is joined by more recent ones. The Langhe Nascetta represents the future: this vineyard was rediscovered a few years ago after a century of oblivion,  so despite everything has its roots in the past ….

A bit like our business!http://blog.rivetto.it/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/DSC08571-300x225.jpg
