Today, the protagonists of this post are not my words but rather the films and interviews of friends and clients who courteously contributed to this report. My idea was to have them offer their perceptions of Italian wine in the UK.
I was in England for four days, participating in the Definitive Italian Wine Tasting at Lords Cricket, I visited Manchester and Staffordshire. My opinion is that London is still at the centre of the old world; one can find any wine produced in the world in the capital of Great Britain. There one finds sommeliers from every part of the terraqueous world and one breathes an air that I really like: that of comparison and enthusiasm.
