China, Pecking, Tiananmen Square: it’s absolutely forbidden to take pictures of commercial products in the square which is the symbol of the regime. Policemen are everywhere, they check and give directions.Furtively, a picture is taken, and then a fast, fast run. The policemen do realize it, but it’s too late, it’s done! The brave photographer is F.G., my agent in China. Since he (or she?) cannot take ownership of the act in China, he sent it to me, telling me that Rivetto Wines will be everywhere in China, even in the Tiananmen Square. The project is ambitious, maybe too much, even for someone as ambitious as me.
