Langhe Nascetta 2010, finally!

We are getting serious this year: the Nascetta from this grape harvest will finally be Langhe Nascetta doc. We are authorized on the wine registries to produce wine from this variety that is no longer listed simply as a Langhe bianco, but that can now bear the name of the grape on the bottle label. Nebbiolo Prima: second day

The second day of Nebbiolo Prima was intense, at 12 at our showroom in piazza Garibaldi 2 in Alba came the most respected Croatian wine journalist: Zeliko Suhadolnik. He writes fro Svijet Ucasi from Zagabria and we appreciated, as aperitivo, the new Langhe Bianco “Matiré” 2009 from Nascetta grapevines, the indigenous Langa grapevine, rediscovered recently. Simplicity and elegance in a friendly atmosphere is not easy to find in the world of wine, I like a lot the concept behind Vina Studja in Riga, in cold Latvia. Winebar, cellar and  and lessons with sommelier, in just a bit less than 100 square metres.
